So, here are our favorite Mother’s Day activities, including some of our own Mother’s Day specials at Pacific Palms Resort.

1.      Brunch at Cima Restaurant

Treat mom to something special at Cima Restaurant’s Mother’s Day Brunch Special at Pacific Palms Resort. Enjoy an all you can eat brunch buffet with seatings are at 10 am and 1 pm. Different buffet sections include seafood & sushi, pasta bar, specialty dessert station, and so much more! And to make sure mom knows how special she is, she will be presented with a single rose. With large family tables and even patio dining options available, you are sure to find the right setting you need to treat mom to the very best. Cost is $68 per person and $25 for children 10 and under. And if you can’t make it for brunch, check out our Red Roses Mother’s Day Dinner at Red Restaurant & Bar, from 5 pm to 9 pm. 2.      A day at the spa

What mom doesn’t want to be pampered on Mother’s Day? Treat her to a day at the spa at The Spa at Pacific Palms for mom’s spa special. For the entire month of May enjoy special spa packages, such as a 50-minute signature massage and 50-minute signature facial all for just $185. Request your appointment online here.

3.      Stop and smell the roses

Give mom the gift of flowers by taking her to the Descanso Gardens. During the month of May visitors can enjoy a variety of flowers in full bloom such as roses, azaleas, camellias, irises, and various wildflowers. Enjoy an afternoon tea at the tea house take some time to stroll through the Sturt Haaga Gallery to view one of their rotating exhibits. General admission tickets to the gardens are $9.

4.      Shop and eat

Who says you have to sit down for lunch? Keep mom moving by taking her to Smorgasbord, where she can enjoy street food at its finest. This downtown Sunday market brings patrons a taste of local foods while walking around and shopping from various stylish vendors. What mom doesn’t love a little food and shopping?

5.      Get crafty with it

Head out to Mack Sennett Studios in Silverlake to the Echo Park Craft Fair. This two-day craft fair hosted over Mother’s Day weekend is a Pinterester’s dream. With over 120 artists represented, the show has become a thriving showcase for the flourishing Makers Movement. You can buy tickets online for single day entrance for $10 or weekend entrance for $16.
