As a pet-friendly resort, we love helping our pet owner guests find nearby things to do with Fido during their stay. Check out our top five pet-friendly activities near Pacific Palms Resort!

Hiking: There’s no shortage of easy dog-friendly hiking trails or more moderate hikes that you and your four-legged friend can trek. Whether you want to double up and check off some sightseeing with hiking the dog-friendly Mount Hollywood Trail or escape into nature with the trails in Angeles National Forest, you and your dog are sure to find a trail to suit your needs. Just don’t forget your water bottle and a collapsible bowl for Fido.

Dining: There are a few pet-friendly restaurants right within the City of Industry with the most notable being Frisco’s (with a feature on Cesar Milan’s Cesar 911).  Your dog is welcome to dine with you out on the patio at this ‘50s diner but perhaps keep the chocolate shake to yourself! Niko Niko Sushi also invites your dog to dine with you out on the patio. If you’re looking to treat your pup, you can always swing by the In-N-Out Burger at 21620 E. Valley Blvd. and order a pup burger for your pooch and a mouthwatering burger for yourself.

Beach: Making your way back toward the coast as you explore the Los Angeles area? Take Fido with you and let them have a beach day too! There’s Rosie’s Dog Beach in Long Beach and Huntington Beach’s Huntington Dog Beach that welcome four-legged and two-legged visitors. Rosie’s does have an off-leash area but dogs must be under voice control.

Dog parks: Let your furry friend run around off-leash at a Los Angeles dog park or visit the Central Bark Dog Park in West Covina at 1500 W. Rowland Ave. It’s a great opportunity for your dog to be social, maybe meet some locals, and tire your pup out so they sleep well back at your hotel in the evening.

Cruising: Love taking your pal on the road? If you’re planning on driving around California on your vacation, then you might want to take a little drive along the Pacific Coast Highway so you can your pup can take in the stunning coastal views.
