The
Eisenhower golf course is famous for its long fairways, large undulating
bent grass and Poa greens. It ranges from 5,589 yards from the forward
tees to 7,181 yards from the championship tees. The slope rating ranges
from 130 to 143 on this par-72 course. Fondly called the “Ike” by club
members, this course is host to the U.S. Open Qualifying and the SCGA
Amateur Qualifying tournaments. It is rated Four Stars by Golf Digest.
