Iris + Simon’s Wedding: 10/23/2010 – Hey gang, sorry for the lack of blogging this past week, but I’m back from the East Coast and ready to share with you the amazing wedding of Iris and Simon from last Saturday. Planned and coordinated to perfection by the spectacular team of Elsa and Melissa from ME Events & Design, Iris and Simon aka Si-ris aka Cyrus rocked their big day at the Pacific Palms Resort in City of Industry.

The day was simply action packed from the get-go, when Iris, Simon, and their wedding party got ready, had the first looked followed by portraits, and then jumped right into a beautiful tea ceremony. Iris must’ve changed at least a half-a-dozen times, as she had her gorgeous white dress, a tea ceremony dress, and an evening gown/party dress for the reception. She looked amazing in each one, but not to be outdone was the super cool and slick Simon himself.

What I loved so much about this wedding was how everyone, led by Iris and Simon themselves, showed so much happiness and love throughout the whole day. We had memorable activities both at the ceremony and reception. For example, both Iris and Simon wrote their own vows and gave flowers to their respective moms. Then at the reception, Simon surprised Iris by singing an Andy Lau song, whom by the way, must be Simon’s number one fan ;) . And the games, dancing, and toasts left everyone laughing and even crying.

Thanks Elsa for introducing me to Iris and Simon, and along with Melissa, coordinating an unforgettable day. And an extra special thanks to I + S for just being down-right awesome to work with. I wish you guys nothing but the very best, and yes, move over Andy Lau, Iris has her real man in Simon Yau :) !
