Adults-only California spring break

The kids get to get away from their desks for spring break so why can't you? Plan an adults-only getaway or staycation this spring and relive the days of your youthful vacations with these activities!
Remember when one of the most exciting things about a vacation was heading straight to the pool? This time around, you might be more inclined to sit out and relax and soak up some sun poolside but you’re more than welcome to go for a swim in the cool, refreshing water.
Get some fresh air as you head on over to Anaheim to visit Angel Stadium to enjoy America’s favorite pastime, or a few cold beers. Did you know the stadium first opened on April 9, 1966?
Hit the green with a professional with a golf lesson at Industry Hills Golf Club. Or schedule your own tee times to play our two championship golf courses! Don’t forget to grab a cocktail or hit happy hour to talk about your game afterward.
See the iconic sights
Take a page from mom and dad’s book and go sight-seeing for an afternoon! Perhaps you’ll be star-struck along the Hollywood Walk of Fame or visit some of the more eccentric museums in Los Angeles.
Take a break
Take an hour, or a few, to yourself with a luxurious treatment at the spa or salon! Let the therapists work out your tired muscles or give you a fresh new look for the season.
The most fun places on earth
Feel like a kid again and let your imagination run wild as you visit Universal Studios Hollywood, Disneyland, or even Knott’s Berry Farm to ride the thrill rides. Find out if you’re a wizard, a prince or princess, or just enjoy some old-fashioned theme park rides for a day.
When I grow up
Live out your inner child’s fantasy of being an astronaut at the Griffith Observatory or just go to explore the exhibits or learn a thing or two about the stars in the sky above us at the Samuel Oschin Planetarium or by looking through the telescopes.
Get some energy out
Remember when mom or dad just let you run around like crazy to release some energy? Take that energy on the road and explore some of the nearby hiking trails in the San Gabriel Valley for some excellent exercise and to appreciate some wonderful views of California.
Take a mini road trip
Take a half-day road trip to Joshua Tree National Park to explore the outdoors. In honor of the National Park Service’s Centennial, take advantage of the fee-free entry days with two weekends in April, 15 – 16 and 22 – 23.
Luckily, for this spring break you won’t need your parents to be able to stay at a fantastic hotel! We just politely ask for no jumping on the bed. Find the perfect room to retreat to this spring at Pacific Palms Resort.
