  • BANQUET SERVER

    Department: BANQUETS

    Qualifications:
    Prior serving experience required, banquet serving preferred. Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight (typically 20-lb food trays). Professional attitude and appearance.

    Description:
    Responsible for the set-up and servicing of food & beverage to guests at all banquet functions according to Pacific Palms standards. This is an on-call position, shifts vary from week to week depending on business levels. Weekend availability is required. Open availability preferred. Food Handler’s certification/card required.

  • BANQUET BARTENDER

    Department: BANQUETS

    Qualifications:
    Prior bartending experience.  Professional attitude and appearance.  Must pass pre-screening Bartender Exam.

    Description:
    Part- time positions. Provides excellent service and experience to guests.  Able to work weekends and holidays. 

  • BANQUET BARBACK

    Department: BANQUETS

    Qualifications:
    Prior bartending/bar back experience.  Professional attitude and appearance; communicates well.
     

    Description:
    Part-time position. Must be able to setup bars and maintains it to be well stocked.  Responsible for cleaning up and also involves in some dish duties.  Able to work primarily varied shifts during all weekends.

  • COOK 1

    Department: CULINARY

    Qualifications:
    Performs the actual cooking of all menu items, normally to order in accordance with the procedures and high level of quality. Prepares food in an efficient manner while adhering to established standardized recipes and procedures.  Is the shift leader and is required for proper opening and closing associated with that shift. At least 4 years experience in all food production.  Two years of culinary trade school preferred.  Must be Serve-Safe certified.

    Description:
    Full-time position. Able to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends. Personal and cooking interview to be conducted.

  • STEWARD

    Department: CULINARY

    Qualifications:
    Accustomed to heavy physical labor. Able to bend, stoop, reach, squat, and carry heavy items. Must be able to communicate and take instruction well. Previous experience working in a kitchen environment helpful. Able to work varied shifts, weekends & holidays.

    Description:
    Full-time and part-time positions available. Cleans all kitchen equipment, floors, walls, takes out trash, stemware, silverware, and assists with all culinary preparations. Food Handler’s certification/card required.

  • ROOM ATTENDANT

    Department: HOUSEKEEPING

    Qualifications:
    Prior experience as a Room attendant for hotel/motel property preferred, but willing to train individual with a friendly personality, a SMILE and a professional appearance and attitude.  Good communication skills.  Able to work varied hours and days, including all weekends.

    Description:
    Responsible for cleaning and self-supervising up to 16 rooms per shift.  Duties include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, making beds, cleaning toilets, shower stalls and tubs, as well as overhead work. 

  • FRONT DESK AGENT

    Department: FRONT OFFICE

    Qualifications:
    Extensive customer service experience, willing to work varied shifts and days.  Must have excellent communication skills, professional attitude and appearance.  Asian language skills a plus.

    Description:
    Full-time positions.  Handles guest’s check-in and checkouts.  Assist guests with any requests, provides exceptional guest service.

  • TABLE MAINTENANCE

    Department: RED RESTAURANT

    Qualifications:
    At least 1 year experience in food service preferably in an upscale restaurant. Excellent verbal communication skills.  Friendly & outgoing personality with a positive attitude. Capable of performing multiple tasks. Food Handler’s certification/card required.

    Description:
    Part-time position. Assists in the set-up, maintenance, stocking and the cleanliness of the tables and the restaurant. Able to work varied shifts and during all weekends.

  • SERVER

    Department: CIMA RESTAURANT

    Qualifications:
    QUALIFICATIONS:  Responsible for serving food & beverage to guests in the restaurant. Good communication and great customer service skills a must. Previous food server in a stand alone restaurant or buffet restaurant experience required.
    Reliable individual who can work weekends and all holidays.  Mandarin language skills a plus.

  • ROOM SERVICE CASHIER/BARTENDER

    Department: ROOM SERVICE/CIMA RESTAURANT

    Qualifications:
    Prior food service skills needed. Must be 21years of age to serve alcohol. Prior cash handling experience, excellent communication skills. Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Card.

    Description:
    Part-time position. The ideal candidate has excellent telephone skills able to communicate well. This position is responsible for taking guests’ room service requests accurately and coordinate effectively and efficiently with the service staff. Must be able to multi task. Able to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends. Bi-lingual in Mandarin preferred.

  • BUSINESS TRAVEL SALES MANAGER

    Department: SALES & MARKETING

    Qualifications:
    Must have at least 2 years of Hotel Sales Management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess strong computer skills with a working knowledge of the DELPHI sales & catering account management system. Excellent phone skills a plus.

    Description:
    This position is primarily responsible for the Corporate Preferred market segment and all individual business and leisure transient activities within the sales department for Pacific Palms. This person will be expected to identify, meet with and solicit clients and accounts that utilize guest rooms with or without meetings primarily in the Southern California area. The successful person must be a high-energy result driven person with hotel experience. The successful person must be a self-starter and be able to utilize strong time management skills. This person must also be able to multi-task efficiently and effectively.

  • STARTER

    Department: GOLF

    Qualifications:
    Good customer service skills, able to work varied shifts.  Work is primarily outside, able to lift up to 50lbs with ease. Excellent verbal communication skills.

    Description:
    Full and Part time positions available.  Provides service to the members in the area of starting times, tee time coordination, answering telephone calls, tournament operations, rules & policies, pace of play, accurate daily play totals and assists any requests from the Golf Professionals

  • COSMETOLOGIST

    Department: SPA

    Qualifications:
    Maintaining schedules of daily appointments promoting sales of salon products, creating and maintaining schedules of daily appointments, promoting sales of salon, creating and maintaining a client base offering excellent guest service.  Must have knowledge in all aspects of cosmetology including: cutting, styling, shampooing, hand and foot therapies, waxing, facials, coloring, and permanents.  Responsibilities include performing treatments including, hair, nails, facials, makeup and waxing, retail sales and providing guests with excellent customer service.  Must have a flexible schedule and excellent communication skills. 

    Description:
    Part-time on-call position. Must possess excellent communication skills. Must love working with people, keen attention to detail and keeping things organized.  Must have a flexible schedule.

  • RESERVATION AGENT

    Department: RESERVATIONS

    Qualifications:
    Excellent phone etiquette, customer service experience, ability to multi-task, strong computer skills, willing to work varied shifts and days.  Must have excellent verbal communication and hospitality skills, professional attitude and appearance. 

    Description:
    Takes room reservations over the phone & assist guests with any requests.  The reservation agent markets the resort and converts all room reservation calls at the highest rate possible.  Supportive functions include assisting the Reservations Manager with projects and completing them in a timely manner.

  • SERVER

    Department: RED

    Qualifications:
    Must have a minimum of 5 years in a fine dining establishment with knowledge of the proper sequence of service and table etiquette. Wine and food knowledge is mandatory. Must be aware of alcohol consumption laws. Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Card

    Description:
    To provide 100% Guest Satisfaction through impeccable service and relentless attention to detail.  Ensure proper attitude & atmosphere for guest enjoyment and relaxation.  Servers are the real representatives of the restaurant. It is through your abilities and service skills that the customer develops a familiarity and sense of loyalty to return and have a certain experience that only RED can convey.

  • BANQUET COORDINATOR

    Department: BANQUETS

    Qualifications:
    QUALIFICATIONS:  Answer phone alls directed to Director and Banquet Department.  Transcribe, type and compose memos, schedules, menu descriptions, etc.  Establish and maintain filing system. Schedule and coordinate meetings hosted by the Director of Banquets.  Collect and maintain daily BEO’s.  Attend BEO meetings.  Other duties as needed.

    Description:
    DESCRIPTION:  1 Full time position; primary shift: 8:30AM~5PM, but must be flexible to work weekends, evenings and holidays. 

  • HOUSEPERSON

    Department: HOUSEKEEPING

    Qualifications:
    QUALIFICATIONS:  Prior experience as a houseperson or custodian in a hotel/motel property desired.  Hard working individual, good communication skills and a team player.

    Description:
    DESCRIPTION: 2 Part Time positions.  Responsible for stocking and supplying the Room Attendants with all their daily supplies.  Duties also involve guest requests and deliveries to rooms.
